Accessibility Statement
Easy Home Maintenance wants every homeowner to be able to read this website and submit a request without difficulty. This statement explains what has been built into the website and how to tell us if something does not work for you.
Our approach
The website is built with semantic structure, a single main heading on each page and a logical heading order, so it can be navigated by screen reader as well as by sight. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA are used as the reference standard.
Features included
- A skip to content link at the start of every page
- Keyboard access to the menu, dropdown, accordions and every form control
- Visible focus outlines that do not rely on color alone
- Form labels connected to their fields, with error messages linked to the field they describe
- Text and interface colors chosen for readable contrast
- Touch targets sized for comfortable use on a phone
- Reduced motion support, so animations are minimised when your device requests it
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
Known limitations
Some third party technologies used for analytics or advertising measurement are outside our direct control, and their behaviour may differ from the rest of the website. We review the pages we control as content is added.
