How It Works
From Description to Follow-Up
Eight short steps explain the whole process, so you know what is expected of you and what happens on our side.
- 1
Select a service
Choose the category that matches your need: bathroom, electrical, HVAC, kitchen, plumbing or roofing. If your issue could sit in two categories, pick the closest and explain the rest in the description.
- 2
Enter your ZIP Code
The ZIP Code is how availability is assessed, so it is worth double checking. Use the ZIP Code of the property that needs attention, not a billing address if the two are different.
- 3
Describe the maintenance need
Write what is happening, where it is happening, when it started and whether it is getting worse. Mention anything you have already switched off or tried. A photo can be attached if it helps.
- 4
Provide contact information
Give a name, email address and phone number that reach you easily. These are used to reply to your request and nothing else about the request can move forward without them.
- 5
Select scheduling preferences
Optionally add a preferred date, a preferred time of day and how you would rather be contacted. Preferences are noted and used as a starting point rather than treated as a fixed booking.
- 6
Submit the request
Tick the consent box and submit. The form checks your details, shows a loading state while it sends, and takes you to a confirmation page when it has been received.
- 7
Receive follow-up
Your request is reviewed and you are contacted about availability for that service in your ZIP Code, along with anything that still needs clarifying.
- 8
Confirm final arrangements
A date, time and scope become real only once they have been discussed and you have agreed. Until then the request remains an enquiry.
Submitting a service request does not confirm an appointment.
Information to prepare
None of this is required to send a request, but each item makes the review faster and reduces the number of follow-up questions you need to answer.
- The room or system involved, and how long the issue has existed
- Whether the problem is constant, intermittent or getting worse
- Anything you have already done, such as resetting a breaker or closing a valve
- The approximate age of the property or equipment if you know it
- One clear photo of the affected area, taken safely
- Your ZIP Code, contact details and the days or times that usually suit you
How ZIP Code availability works
Availability is never assessed on the service alone or the location alone. It is the combination that matters, because a category that can be supported in one area may not be supported in another. When you enter a ZIP Code, that value stays with your request and is used during review. We do not publish a list of supported cities or a coverage map, since either would quickly become inaccurate. Instead you receive a direct answer about your own request during follow-up.
What happens after submission
Your request is stored with the date and time it was received and then read in full. Where appropriate, it may be coordinated with an independent service professional who can assist with the selected service, as described in the Service Provider Disclosure. You are then contacted using your preferred method. Nothing is treated as arranged until you have agreed to it.
How your information is used
The details you provide are used to review the request, to assess availability and to reply to you. Contact details are not used for unrelated marketing, and personal information is kept out of page addresses and analytics events. The Privacy Policy sets out what is collected, how long it is kept and the choices available to you.
